Hawaiian Daze - Slush Cup

Join us on Saturday, March 21st, 2026
Pond Skim | Snow Golf | Costume Contest | Silent Auction | Poker Run | Scavenger Hunt | Live Music
There will be a party on the deck ALL DAY! Join us for our famous Hawaiian Burgers, with several other options served with your favorite pint of beer!
 

EVENT SCHEDULE (tentative)

9:00 a.m. In the lodge.
Sign-ups start for Poker Run, Scavenger Hunt, Snow Golf, Costume Contest & Pond Skim.
Sign up for each event must be completed at least 30 minutes before the event ends.
*All participants will need to sign a waiver* Coming Soon     Pre-sign your waiver to expedite your registration

9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Silent Auction & Raffle. 
All bid sheets will be pulled at 3:30 p.m. sharp. 
Raffle tickets are $2 and you MUST be present to win

10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Scavenger Hunt.
$5 per person. Prizes at 3:30 p.m.

10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. BBQ and drinks on the deck

11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Poker Run, from the top to the bottom of Silver Ridge
Entry Fee: $5 Ages 15 & Under   $10 Ages 16 & above

11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Snow Golf
Entry Fee $1 per shot or 6 shots for $5

12:30 p.m. Costume Contest. Modeling and judging on the deck, FREE

1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pond Skim   
$10 for 1 run and $20 for 2 runs &  $25 for 3 runs

2:30 to 5:00 p.m. Live Music Playing live in the Boomtown Bar (outside if the weather allows)

 

All proceeds go to the 49° North Volunteer Ski Patrol and the Mountain Hosts to pay for first aid equipment, training, and uniforms.

Pond Skimming Tips:
Speed is your friend.
Don’t lean back; keep your weight centered and tips up.
Bend your knees and keep your hands forward.
Bring an extra pair of boots for the day.
Wider skis (most skimmers say) help with float.
Wear a costume!
Have a blast!

What is Toyota Ski Free Day?
The DRIVER of any TOYOTA who comes to the designated Ski the NW Rockies ski area on the designated day will receive a FREE lift ticket VALID FOR THAT DAY ONLY. No vouchers or passes are required. Just drive your Toyota to the mountain on that day.

Toyota representatives will be in the parking lot at each resort for each event under a Toyota tent. As a customer arrives in their Toyota they receive a free lift ticket for that day. It’s that simple.

If multiple people show up in a Toyota and they all show proof of ownership, ONLY THE DRIVER OF THE TOYOTA THAT IS THERE WILL RECEIVE THE FREE LIFT TICKET.
You all are very creative! Find out more here!

Be prepared to be directed into parking lot #4 (directly across from the Nordic Center) to pick up your swag and lift ticket; no reservation is needed other than to show up in your Toyota!

29th Annual Sheimo Cup Race benefiting the F.A.S.T. Racing Program
Saturday March 7th, 2026

Test your speed and accuracy and sign up for a timed race! Compete against others in your age and sports category!
Register to compete in one or more of these categories: Ski, Snowboard & Telemark
Check-in/Register 8:30am-10am in the main lodge

Adult $35 Youth $30 Includes a Sheimo T-shirt
Course Opens 10am-1:30pm  2 Runs per competitor 

Awards at 2:30pm on the deck
*The top three in each sport category, in each age category will win a commemorative Sheimo mug

Homeschool Program

Homeschool Program (Ages 5-17)

We offer 5-week programs on Mondays for Homeschool Students ages 5-17. Classes focus on getting your child outside and exploring more of the mountain! Students are sorted by ability level.

Tour the trails of 49 Degrees North! Your guide will give tips leading to better control and more fun on your snowshoes. Beautiful scenery and healthy exercise followed by a tasty sack lumch. Fee includes: guide/instructor, poles, snowshoes, trail pass, and lunch! 10am-2pm $59 Ages 15+

Nordic Wintersportsfest

49° North Nordic Center celebrates with our Wintersportsfeston Saturday, January 31st
If you like to play in the snow or want an introduction to winter recreation, this is the opportunity to try a variety of Nordic sports! 

There will be demos to try: Snowshoes, Altai Skis, Fat Tire Bikes, Mini Classic & Skate Skis, Cross Country Skis, and lessons for all ages throughout the day. All this for $14 running from 9:00 am - 4 pm.

$14 admission includes Trails Passes, Mini-Lessons, and Rentals at the Nordic Center.
Demos and more by North Division Cycle and Altai Ski. Also in partnership with Spokane Parks and Rec.

Our alpine racing team focuses on fun and fundamental skill development for beginner to advanced racers, ages 5 and up. Program training provides the athletes with a mix of gate running and directed free skiing from December to the beginning of April. Team goals go beyond the slopes with a focus on helping each athlete develop self-confidence, pride in accomplishment, and an understanding of commitment and follow-through.

Friday January 30th - Super G - only U12/U14 racers - Silver Ridge to Queen
9:00-11:00 AM - Venue is open for Free Ski (racers only)
11:00-11:45 - Venue is closed. Super G course is set for training run. Coaches bib pick up. Located in lower level seating area. 
12:15 - 1:00 - Inspection of course – Patrol in place
1:10 - Forerunners
1:15 - Open training run, with timing

Cross Country Ski Lesson

Cross Country Ski Lesson
Learn to classic cross-country ski, and tour 49 Degrees North Nordic Area ! You will be taught the basics of cross-country skiing by 49 Degrees North certified P.S.I. Ski instructors. Instruction includes equipment, ski area rules, and etiquette, techniques on how to glide on your skis, how to travel uphill, and stop going downhill.

After a fun lesson, we will hit the trails to tour the area trying out our new skills. Beautiful scenery and exercise are what cross-skiing is all about!
Fee includes: skiing equipment (skis, boots, poles), a trail pass, instruction and a guided tour. Bring lunch and plenty of water.  10 am-2 pm $75   Ages 13+

Women’s Clinic Series

Women's Clinic (Ages 15+)
10 am-12 pm

Our Women's Clinic Series provides a safe and supportive environment for all ability levels of skiers and snowboarders to develop new skills. We offer monthly clinics throughout the season to help you continue your progress or to help you break past that plateau. Whether you are looking to conquer new terrain or you've been stuck in a rut, we have the coaches to help you achieve your goals! Our focus for each clinic will be based on the day's conditions and the participant's goals. Please let us know when you register if you have any specific educational goals. A lift ticket or pass is required to participate in the lesson.

2-Hour Group Lesson Price: $69
Clinic times: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm*
*Video Analysis to immediately follow the lesson
